Invesco recognized the need to modernize their global finance and accounting technology infrastructure to improve operational effectiveness while reducing long-term technology debt and operational costs. The existing systems landscape required significant ongoing investment in maintenance and support while limiting the organization’s ability to leverage advanced reporting capabilities, process automation, and data analytics. The company needed to migrate to a modern global cloud platform that would streamline processes, enable enhanced automation, increase data quality and reliability, and provide a foundation for future technological advancement. The scope of this transformation required comprehensive lifecycle delivery support including software selection, systems integration, and the mobilization of a large-scale global implementation team using Agile methodologies.
Our Solution
Thought Logic provided comprehensive full lifecycle support for Invesco’s global cloud transformation initiative, delivering strategic guidance and hands-on implementation expertise. Our approach included facilitating the complete software selection and systems integrator RFP process, along with governance and business case development to secure executive support. We mobilized a 300+ person global implementation team focused on the design, development, testing, and cutover phases for an 18-month period across 15 product squads and 10 enabling squads utilizing Agile transformation methodology. Additionally, we served as independent advisors to evaluate program progress and organizational readiness across all implementation phases, ensuring successful delivery and sustainable adoption of the new cloud platform.
